Vintage Chinese Butterfly, Purple Iris and Blossom Silk Painting in a Faux Bamboo Frame

Beautiful hand painted vintage Chinese Butterfly, purple Iris and blossom silk painting. The image has been delicately painted on cream silk and mounted on light grey damask silk. Framed in faux bamboo which was topical of mid century oriental styling. 

The painting and framing are in great condition with the only alteration replacing the framing tape. Along with new hanging eyes and wire. 

This painting has been stamped and signed by the artist. Possibly painted mid 20th century.
